Allowing the mirror to extend out when towing and return to a normal driving position, when not towing. Government guidelines state that the driver is required to see 20m past the widest point of the towed vehicle. MSA 4X4 has created a range of Towing Mirrors that meet this guideline and are specifically designed for Australian towing vehicles. The large single mirror lens creates less confusion and enhanced safety while driving. The four, easily adjustable positions, provide greater vision, with less vibration to any towing situation, while maintaining ADR compliance and safety. When the mirror is rotated into the horizontal position, the mirror’s actuator automatically adapts, allowing for standard adjustments (up, down, side to side) from the vehicle’s standard mirror controller. This caters to drivers of differing height and seated positions. Designed to fold inwards or outwards when bumped in car parks, or when contact is made with trees and other obstacles around the vehicle. Simple to fit.
